Dr. Shien Tiong is the principal chiropractor of Empower Chiropractic.

After 5 years of arduous studying abroad in Melbourne, he has a double degree to his name awarded by Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia.

​

Throughout his years in Australia he attended numerous seminars and received tremendous exposure to many forms of chiropractic. Ultimately, Dr. Shien Tiong decided on the Gonstead Technique as his preferred technique due to the safety & precision in assessment protocols incorporated in the technique.

​

In his university days, Dr. Shien Tiong played a pivotal role in Gonstead Club in RMIT University and helped other students learn and familiarise with the technique.

​

In practice, he is immensely perceptive, understanding and supportive of patients in their recovery process. He believes chiropractic is something that should be catered to all and he will strive to make it accessible and available to everyone.

 

He is also a massive football fan and avid supporter of Manchester United.

• Bachelor of Health Science with Distinction

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) with Distinction

• Registered Chiropractor of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Registered Chiropractor of Ministry of Health Malaysia (T&CM KKM)

• Current member of Gonstead Chiropractic Society Australia (GCS)

• Current member of Association of Chiropractic Malaysia (ACM)
